Settings

The Settings section allows you to select or add a proxy that you want to use. By being behind a proxy server you can be sure that your real IP address will never be revealed.

In order to obtain a list of free proxies you have to press the Update Proxy List Button Now - which will generate a list with proxies that are available at that time.

You can use any of them but we recommend you to choose a proxy located in your country or a country near by you in order to have a better download speed.

On the other side if you know a free proxy that you can connect to you can do it by pressing the Add New Proxy button and complete the Add Proxy Dialog.

The proxy performances or if it is available or not, will be show after you press the OK button form the Add Proxy Dialog.

There are different ways of obtaining free proxies in the Tips & Tricks section.

The Enable Anonymous Browsing check box is the switch method for being behind a proxy so your IP is not detectable or being directly connected to Internet.

We recommend you to always uncheck this option when you are visiting secure web sites. Also please proceed in the same way is a page is not loading if the Enable Anonymous Browsing is checked.

The Save Settings button will save the current configuration – with the selected proxy and the Enable Anonymous Browsing checked or unchecked.

Privacy

The Privacy section allows you to configure different options that can improve your browsing such as popup blocking or can clean your tracks such as remove cookies, last typed urls and also the Active X and Java Script can be blocked.

Remarks: The popup blocker is very efficient but might (in a very few cases) block some popups that you would like to accept. For this please uncheck the Block Popups check box, close all your browsers or email clients and reopen them. In this way all popups will be allowed.

The privacy options can help you keep your browser clean by removing temporary Internet files, cookies, cache entries and last typed url(s). All the options can be checked or unchecked at any time.

The scripting and the active x objects can also be stopped by checking or unchecking their correspondent options.

After you check or uncheck or the options press the Save Settings button and the changes will be immediately applied.

The first issue will cover the “How can I find free proxies?" issue.This is pretty simple, there are several dedicated web sites that are offering this feature. For example: http://www.stayinvisible.com/index.pl/proxy_list and many others -> just search the web and you’ll find an impressive list of websites that are offering proxy lists. All you need is an IPAddress:Port combination.

The second issue is “How do I share the Internet Connection? “ issue. This can be done because the Invisible Browsing contains a fully functional http proxy, which can route the traffic from a machine located in LAN thought a remote proxy server in to the Internet. So all you have to do is to configure your browsers from the client machine to use as proxy server the IP address of the Invisible Browsing machine and the 8080 port. In the following example (considering that we have the Invisible Browsing installed on a machine with the 10.0.0.1 IP address) you have to add the following settings:
